Mia Modified is a company that curates unique, one of a kind statement pieces for your wardrobe that channels everyone’s inner emo. Grunge, punk rock, goth, scene never went out of style. We challenge everyone to bring out their edgier side.
My Vision
I started Mia Modified to show that being punk, grunge, gothic, or edgier does not always align with the assumptions of being uneducated, drug addicted, dirty, or mentally ill. I challenge the stereotypes as a successful women in STEM that style only portrays physical fashion, not one’s inner capacity and soul. I aspire for everyone to push their expressive limits. Without the fear of judgment or wrongful assumptions.
How It Started
After years of up-cycling thrifted pieces and receiving a multitude of consistent compliments on my creations I finally began to open commissions. Following hundreds of orders, a business was blooming, & Mia Modified was born.
